Hello!  We are John and Heather Oney.

We are a full-time traveling family. After years of dreaming and planning, June 2025 we sold our home in Wisconsin, bought an Alliance Valor 5th wheel, and hit the road. We have a bit of a zoo amongst these wheels. Along with my wife Heather, we have 2 preteen girls, and 3 dogs. Crazy? Perhaps. Certainly never a dull moment though!

I had previous jobs at Ariens and Sargento cheese as a Journeyman Industrial Electrician but it was becoming the same day over and over again. A simple clock in and clock out No excitement. 

We for years had followed full-time families on social media and wondered if the grass were greener. I remember one night while at work seeing a video of someone attending the NRVTA school in Athens, Texas. THAT was exactly the turning point. A career I could use my already experience to perfect.

So this past September we made our way down to Texas where I received my RV tech and solar certifications. I’m very excited to start this new chapter with Tank Rangers as well. Bringing my loyal customers the best possible quality and service possible.

I’m grateful for the opportunities. It keeps these wheels moving. Allows for more exploring and more adventures. Excited to experience this all with my family as there is so much out there to share
